After the contract is signed and initial rounds of filming are done, a completed 5-minute profile piece USUALLY takes up to 6 weeks to finish. HOWEVER, longer pieces will take longer to complete. BUT… if you need it sooner, we can most-likely get it to you sooner but on a case by case basis. But know this, all documentaries that we do are quality controlled, so we would charge more.

4. I really like this song on the radio, can we incorporate it into the video?

Depends. We follow licensing laws so if you want that song, we will give it to you along with all the licensed video you want… As long as you pay the licensing fees that will apply. OTHERWISE we like to stick to the B-roll and music that is free to be used and royalty free, It’s nothing personal… we just would rather lawsuits be kept to a minimum.

5. Speaking of copyrights and ownership, who owns this documentary once completed?

Well, here’s the thing. You own this documentary. However, with your permission we might use this on our website to market… ONLY WITH YOUR PERMISSION.

6. So, I have some stuff from my own stash of records and archives that I want to put in the documentary, can I?

YES! Absolutely! As long as you own the material, we can use it. Again, lawsuits make us queasy… so if you have proof of ownership we can make that happen.

7. I’m getting ready for the interview, what should I wear?

Probably wanna look your Sunday best. If that’s what you want to do, that is. If it’s not, then don’t. But remember we’re trying to remember you for you. Also, don’t wear checks or stripes or flannel. It’s a thing with the camera that causes striping. Also stay away from blues or greens. JUST IN CASE OF Chroma keying you.
